Start a project

Tell us about the property.

A few lines about what it is missing is enough to begin. If we are the right studio for the work, we will say so. If we are not, we will say that instead.

Process

Five steps, in order, over one season.

  1. 01 Conversation

Thirty minutes, usually by phone. What the property is missing, how it will be used, and what the work is worth to you.

  2. 02 Site walk

We walk the property together. Grade, drainage, sun, sight lines, utilities, and the trees that decide where nothing can go.

  3. 03 Concept direction

Plan, levels, and material direction. One clear scheme, developed with you, rather than three options to choose between.

  4. 04 Build plan

Construction drawings, permits where needed, fixed scope and price, and a schedule written against the Minnesota season.

  5. 05 Installation

Our crews, our supervision, one site contact from demolition to final grade. We return the following spring to check how everything moved.

Season

Winter enquiries build first.

Design takes eight to twelve weeks. Anything that starts in the cold months is on the ground by the long light.
