Lake Harriet Terrace

A narrow city lot rebuilt as three level changes: a dining terrace at the door, a step down to fire, and a hedge that closes the sightline from the street.

Minnetonka Pool House

Coping, deck, and the stair sequence down to the water drawn as one continuous stone floor, with a shaded kitchen at the far end of the swim.

North Oaks Garden Room

A wooded lot with no defined outdoor space. One room was cut into the slope, walled in cedar, and given a still basin to carry sound.

A pavilion placed at the back of the lot rather than against the house, so the walk out to it became part of the evening.
